That is something I miss of Taiwan. People just walking on the street, saying hi, chatting it up, etc. I guess you would see here in the States if you're in dense downtown (e.g. NY or SF), but then again, maybe not, ppl just kinda go about their own businesses. Anyways, thx again for these photos of Taiwan, makes me feel like I'm back there and reliving it... Say hi to wife and kids, hope all is well...

Hey I'm glad my photos can be a touchstone for you to feel home. I love the social aspects of life here.The origin of, "have you eaten" wasn't simply a greeting-was meant to make sure if you've eaten or not, so to know weather to ask you to sit down for some grub. Going to shoot some sakura today.
