Sometimes you discover an artistic work that is so overwhelming and mind boggling-you have an epiphany not unlike the troubled teen in American Beauty-feeling completely euphoric and free about the spinning plastic bag. My plastic bag moment is from Terrence Malick's-The Tree of Life.
I am still watching it-I'm allowing tim for my eyes to drink in all the beautiful colors, shapes and textures. My brain needs time as well to weave the human and spiritual threads together in this beautiful impressionistic melange of images, warmth, sound and ideas.
