I had the fun of attending the Taiwan Design Expo last weekend-the first time it's been hosted in Taichung. The venue is the Cultural Creativity Center-what was the former Taiwan Monopoly Bureau's Taichung Winery. What a great space, with old industrial settings, wide and expansive (by Taiwan standards) and with decent eclectic exhibits ranging on international designs like cars, airplane seating, fashion, computers, lifestyle products, alcoholic goods, architectural, cultural, etc.
The exhibitors were mostly local but also included: Germany, Japan, the UK and France.
There is truly something for everyone to look at and enjoy and best for photographers they don't restrict picture taking there.
I highly recommend visiting there and look forward to other exhibitions in that space. A family or individual can easily spend a couple of hours there without becoming bored. Best of all admission is free.
I can't see ending this post without including the German fashion forward duo of Kraftwerk-We are the Robots.
