Prescience

Definition:

Knowledge of actions or events before they occur; foresight.
Unusual or creative discernment or perception: farsightedness, foresight, vision.

Related (or random) thread: Brian Eno's Before and After Science one of my favorite musical works (dare I say album?).  He was a great musical visionary having a major hand in shaping the foundations for world , ambient  and electronica music forms.

Such a clown! I am both a  genius full of prescience and sensitivity and a clown waiting to trip over it's over-sized feat feet. I can accept that. Just don't ever want to be a bore! Dullness is death for me.

What waits behind the door? I allow people glimpses into my life even though I am an open book. Do I have any control over what they see and for how long they look?

Bus stop chopped We are all waiting for something. The question is, "What are we waiting for?" Was it worth the wait? Was it more than you bargained for? Can you get a refund if you're not happy?

Dragon on my balcony Do you have dragons or other mythical/virtual/actual creatures as your muse or to support your ideas? What is your muse? What do you rely on to inspire the creative impulse? Is it formulaic or spontaneous?

For me it's pretty spontaneous. I'll stumble over or see or smell something, and both memories (the past) and inspiration (the future) will flood over me. They often get channeled, sometimes they are allowed with pass on. What's frustrating is I cannot sit down and make it happen. What I need is a better method of recording transitory thoughts for later. This, again, leads me down the paradox of being too busy recording something to experience it. Circles within circles.

Are you in control of your own message? Who knows. Every post and every image and every thought is you reflecting the light of a different facet of yourself towards the world. In the end, though, we see what we want to see. So which is the real you, the facets you project or our image of them?

Funny - I knew you were going to write this...

It's perfectly normal to catch glimpses of the "future". Mind-controlling heirarchies, such as religion - including the modern religion of Science - does not like us to have these thoughts because they reveal the non-linear nature of time, and thus, the fleeting futility of their authority. Nonetheless, the incidences of unexplained prescience are far too great to be ignored.

PS: "over-sized feat" = feet ""What are we aiting for? = waiting
