Seesmic WP Plugin

by Mark Forman on April 24, 2008

My buddy Jeremy Vaught aka the Seesmic Blogger Dude informed me via chat this morning that Seesmic’s new plugin for WordPress was available. This is what is showing above. So let’s give it a little road test shall we?

  • Share/Save/Bookmark
  • i installed it on my blog. looks promising.

Yeah Mike-I like the system video quality not the greatest yet but am told will be upgraded.
  • it's far better than the resolution of my camera anyway. i have to get a better one that works with linux.

right-some of the logitech ones pretty good.
  • You have the Seesmic widget -- but not the Seesmic comment plugin? Actually, I know why... Like me, you are using Disqus.

Disqus overrides the standard WP plug-in features, therefore, Seesmic plug-in will not handle your comments. I will not be replacing Disqus (at this point, as it is one of my favorite blogging tools) with the Seesmic option. Though, I must say, the video reply option is VERY attractive.

Ahh see I bet that is what Mike was talking about. Didn't even know Seesmic had comment video system. I agree. Love Disqus and how you can use it without even being on blog. It is good for sustaining conversation in convenient manner.
  • Not sure how, but I haven't found your blog till now. Been spending a while reading everything and I gotta say - I'm really impressed. Things look really great and it's a fun blog to read. Glad there are still some surprises left for me in the Taiwan blogosphere.

Will be following from now on ... ;)
