Gifted people

I love it when I see gifted people being really magnanimous about other gifted people instead of just blowing their own horn. In this case David Byrne talking about Lucinda Williams who he also made a guest appearance with here. David is a gifted and odd fellow who I had the chance to talk with after a Talking Heads small club show in Tucson. Really fascinating guy and writes a cool blog. The Talking Heads are one of the bands from years back that hold up well over time. Here's one of their great songs:

    I've had the privilege to meet several great musicians. Most of them were really cool and had decent attitude because they were connecting with their art and people through their art. Not all of them shared the popularity that David did either. David is also very cool on his support for open source ethics.
