Am I LinkedIn?

LinkedIn a social network for business/professionals was pointed out to me by my uncle(retired attorney)but I was surprised by how many podcaster friends started contacting me and showing up on it. Why is that-are new media folks such social butterflies? Well yes, but I digress.

I was recently pointed to 2 good links for LinkedIn application. One by renowned Apple evangelist Guy Kawasaki, and one by podcaster and LinkedIn Jedi-master Chris Penn. These are of particular relevance to me as a small businessman entrepreneur-in-training. I need to find additional contacts for my business, 1)To enhance income stream, 2) To better utilize my skills garnered from over 30 years of sales/marketing experience. Yes, I like providing service to people. I garner a great sense of achievement when I help someone achieve their business goals.
